MESQUITE, Nev. — Visitors and residents in Mesquite, Nevada, were treated to a colorful show during the annual Mesquite Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend.

The family-friendly event put on by Mesquite Gaming saw the launch of more than 35 hot air balloons into the desert skies each morning, with additional balloons launched during the festival’s Night Glow/Candlestick Show.
