Coming soon is the fifth annual St George Literary Arts Festival on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at the Children’s Museum (in the Dixie Academy on the upper floor) at 86 S. Main St.

The event will feature  Utah’s Poet Laureate Lisa Bickmore discussing “The Life of a Writer.” Other local authors and poets include: Chris Jones, “How to Write Your Next Best Seller”; Wendy Wilson Spooner, “An Author’s Journey”; Lin Floyd, Award in Poetry to Art Competition; Shane D. Williams, “Laughing is Fun — Creative Ways to Add Humor to Your Writing”; and Marleen Bussma, “On the Trail With Cowboy Poetry.”
