Root for Kids receives generous $15,000 donation from Boulevard Home

Root for Kids, a non-profit organization serving pregnant women and children who are facing adversity or are in need of extra support, is happy to announce that it has received a $15,000 donation from BlvdHome. The donation was made from a portion of funds from the 2022 sales of BlvdHome’s HomeTown Collection of mattresses.

Root for Kids is committed to helping pregnant women and children from birth to age five with early childhood and family development programs. With this donation, the organization will be able to continue its mission to provide services that promote the physical, cognitive and social and emotional growth every child needs to have a strong start in life.

“There is a popular saying that “it takes a village”, and we are grateful Boulevard Home is a part of our village, said Monica Jones, Development Director of Root for Kids. “Their dedication to give back to our local community is outstanding! Parenthood can often feel overwhelming and lonely, and support from Boulevard Home will directly impact the families in our program. Their donation of $15,000 will provide necessary diapers and needed care and educational materials for the babies and toddlers receiving our services. We are humbled to have been a part of the HomeTown Partnership and thank our friends at Boulevard Home for their generosity and support. Thank you for joining us in nurturing the strong beginnings of the youngest members of our community.”

BlvdHome is committed to giving back to the community and supporting organizations that provide needed services. The donation to Root for Kids is just one of the many ways the company is working to make a difference in the lives of others.

“We are proud to support Root for Kids and the important work they do in our community,” said Tyler Wittwer, CMO of BlvdHome. “We believe it is our responsibility to give back and make a positive impact, and this donation is just one way we are doing that. We look forward to supporting charities like Root for Kids who are making a difference in the lives of families in need.”
