Pioneer Toys and Playthings

What kind of toys would Santa have left for our early pioneer children?

As Christmas is fast approaching our thoughts go-to toys. Children of our ancestors counted off the days to Christmas hoping for something. They knew it wouldn’t be much but still they hoped.

Dixie Miller will be making a presentation about early Christmas toys. This will be a “show and tell” type presentation of what those gifts might have been. If you have a childhood toy, please bring it; this program is for young and old and if you have an old favorite toy (1850-1890) please bring it and share.
