The duties include: Controlling access to theater facility, insuring facility is secure and has proper supplies, coordinating contracted out janitorial service, insuring proper functioning of basic operations of leased facility, general repairs and managing transfer of props and costumes to and from local warehouse.
Warehouse duties including keeping costumes, props and sets organized for easy access and securing the facility, maintaining inventory and working with Costume Shop manager to rent out inventory on an as needed basis. Handyman (or woman) skills are very beneficial. Contracted out services with extra compensation to assist with individual productions is possible dependent on skill level. This is a part-time position that can average as little as 5 hours and as many as 20 hours a week so flexibility is key. Honesty, integrity and initiative are vital. The salary is $500 to $1,000 per month depending on the candidates’ availability and skill level.
