ST. GEORGE — A & L Finish Carpentry is looking for someone self-driven and detail-oriented to join their team. The job requires problem solving, creativity and sometimes, artistic thinking. Experience isn’t required but is preferred.

Applicants will be installing finish hardware including doorknobs, towel bars, towel rings, robe hooks, toilet paper holders and closet rods, to name the basics. They will also be installing doors. For exterior doors and pocket doors, they will need to be able to carry heavy doors sometimes weighing up to 100 pounds. They may be moving just one on a job or over 10 doors. They may also, at times, work with one of A & L Finish Carpentry’s trim crews learning base and casing.

Applicants will be given the opportunity to learn and progress as much as they’re driven to. Increasing their knowledge and skills with A & L Finish Carpentry will also lead to pay increases. The starting wage is $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants will need a vehicle that can handle hauling tools to the job site as well as a smartphone for the company’s workflow app.
