PARKER, Colorado – Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine is pleased to announce the matriculation of student doctor Joseph Cavallaro of Washington, Utah. Cavallaro was one of 161 students selected to matriculate at RVUCOM out of an applicant pool of over 4,900 candidates.
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine are fully licensed physicians who practice a “whole person” approach to medicine. Osteopathic physicians focus on preventive health care and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system.
Cavallaro is the son of Frank and Martha Cavallaro of Washington, Utah. He is a graduate of Pine View High School and attended Dixie State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Cavallaro is participating in the Health Professions Scholarship Program and will enter the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer.
