Harry Bertoia Foundation Gallery Open House

Come to the Harry Bertoia Open House! Visit an uncommon gallery to have an unusual experience. Hear the gongs, touch the tonals and sit in the chairs. Be amazed! This is not your normal southwestern art display.

Harry Bertoia was a renowned internationally recognized abstract metal sculptor. He placed a sunburst at Sunnylands in Palm Springs, a huge nine-panel piece at the Dulles International Airport and other monumental sculptures all around the country. See a sampling of works you might only see in a New York museum, but right here in St George. He also designed iconic midcentury modern chairs.

In conjunction with our first annual campaign, we invite you all for sounding sculpture concert along with refreshments. We are raising funds to complete our Bertoia catalogue raisonnĂ©, an online documentation of as many of Bertoia’s 15,000+ works as we can locate. In gratitude to our supporters and inviting our new friends, join us for prizes and snacks. Veterans welcomed!

The Harry Bertoia Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the arts.
