Dixie High School Pops choir concert marks director Sheryl Snow’s retirement

ST. GEORGE — Dixie High School’s combined choirs will perform their final concert of the school year on  May 15 at 7 p.m. in the Dixie High School Auditorium. This performance is the annual Pops Concert featuring songs made popular by artists and groups from the 60s, 70s and 80s including the Beatles, Supremes, Journey and Toto. There is no admission charge to attend and the public is invited.

The concert will be performed under the direction of choir director, Sheryl Snow. Snow, who has taught choir at Dixie High School for 28 years, announced her retirement from full time teaching earlier this year. In addition to teaching choir and psychology, she was the vocal director for dozens of successful musicals performed by students at Dixie High School over the past nearly three decades including such Broadway favorites as “Phantom of the Opera,” “Les Miserables,” “Oklahoma,” “Peter Pan” and “West Side Story.”
