City of St. George Neighborhood Open House makes next stop at South Mountain Community Church, June 10

ST. GEORGE — In an ongoing effort to better connect with its residents, the City of St. George will host its next Neighborhood Open House in the Little Valley community at South Mountain Community Church (3158 East 2000 South), on June 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“In our previous open houses, we got to talk with residents and listen to their concerns and identify ways we can better serve those who live in the City of St. George,” said St. George Mayor Michele Randall. “I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on June 10. This opportunity to interact with our citizens helps us make better decisions for our city.”

Those who attend can learn about a variety of city projects and plans, including:

  • Major construction plans, such as the River Road Project
  • Ongoing efforts to update the City’s General Plan and create the first-ever Downtown Master Plan.
  • The St. George Art Museum’s new traveling bus, Artie
  • The fundraising drive to bring a Gold Star Families Memorial Monument to Historic St. George.

There will be food, games, entertainment and swag available. The Leisure EEEEs, a performing group made up of young people in the Leisure Services Department, will perform a few numbers during the open house.
