Nov. 4, 1934-March 30, 2024

Carol Ann Roberts, 89, of Santa Clara, Utah, passed away on March 30, 2024, in St. George, Utah.  Carol was born on Nov. 4, 1934, in Gilbert, West Virginia, to William Noe and Martery Whitaker. Carol graduated from Gilbert High School.

Carol was previously married to Frances Daly Jr., with whom she shared a daughter Kathleen. They lived in New York, England and Germany before divorcing. 

Carol continued raising her daughter in Southern California, where she performed government secretarial work, including at the Long Beach Naval Hospital. There she met and married Donald Roberts in 1974.

Carol and Don made a wonderful life together. In their retirement years, they roamed the country in their fifth wheel, especially enjoying Camp Pendleton and Ocean Shores. They created homes in Oregon, Arizona and Utah. 

Carol was a skilled seamstress, cook and homemaker. She was known for her beauty, tasteful style and signature vibrant blond hair. She was an avid reader and crossword puzzler. She loved cats and dogs.   

She is survived by her husband Don Roberts, siblings Harold Noe and Pauline Hatfield, daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Greg Langston, granddaughters Jennifer Langston and Alicia Reese, and great-grandchildren Amy and Vendra Langston and Milo and Jack Reese. She will be dearly missed.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m. at the Santa Clara City Cemetery.
