CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Modern Warriors, Southern Utah’s largest supplier of tactical weapons and gear, invites local gun enthusiasts to their shop for a special visit from firearms manufacturer Q, LLC. The makers of high-quality products like the Honey Badger, the Sugar Weasel and The Fix will be in St. George on Saturday, Sept. 2, as part of their 2023 Q Hits the Road Tour.
Stop by Modern Warriors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a closer look at the products that have put Q on the map as a developer of cutting-edge firearms and accessories. Anyone who buys a Q item will receive a limited-edition Modern Warriors Q Hits the Road T-shirt.
“They’re going to bring their entire lineup of firearms with them, and it’s pretty rare to find all of those together,” said Hunter Storey, digital marketing specialist for Modern Warriors. “This is a unique opportunity to talk with Q’s employees and get hands-on experience with these guns.”
Customers will also have a chance to win a Sugar Weasel rifle with accessories during the event, so be sure to mark your calendar and show up to get your entry in.
Q’s new Sugar Weasel is the rifle variant of their popular pistol. Featuring a 16-inch barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO, it’s built on a clear anodized M16 spec receiver set with a cerakote finish (no forward assist). Highlights include a fast-twist barrel, Cherry Bomb muzzle brake and 15-inch M-Lok handguard.
Bringing decades of experience to the table, the Q team focuses on every aspect of product design, development and production. This combination of innovative engineering, top-quality materials and next-gen manufacturing cuts no corners to create the best possible firearms and accessories for every customer. They strive to tackle engineering challenges, fill specific niches in the market and build products they’re passionate about.
Headquartered in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the “Live Free or Die” state, Q was built on the foundation of doing what’s best for both customers and employees. Kevin Brittingham, the company’s founder and a pioneer in silencer development, shares a common goal with his team: to evolve the firearms industry through science and innovation, and to achieve the “Unpossible.” Q isn’t here to compete – they’re here to change the world.
Modern Warriors specializes in tactical weapons and accessories, including a selection of more than 4,000 firearms. Since 2014, the store has grown into the region’s premier tactical sporting goods dealer. Customers drive from as far away as Salt Lake City and Las Vegas to browse their showroom, and they also ship firearms and accessories nationwide through their online store.
Last year, the company expanded operations by moving to an 11,000-square-foot facility just east of I-15 in Bloomington Hills. The building includes a state-of-the-art showroom, a customization and repair shop, and a shipping and receiving warehouse to facilitate online orders. It also features a classroom offering training courses such as concealed carry, gun awareness and emergency preparedness.
“We pride ourselves on offering an amazing selection of high-end firearms and tactical equipment,” Storey said. “Besides the fact that we have a world-class facility and showroom, we have the product to back it up. We sell things here that people don’t get to see in person anywhere else.”
As a specialty retailer, Modern Warriors carries many unique firearms along with an ample supply of ammunition. The store caters to enthusiasts looking for the latest and greatest in tactical weaponry as well as people just starting to explore gun ownership.
