CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — As the area keeps growing, Southern Utahns are looking for new ways to save water. Artificial turf is rapidly gaining popularity by virtually eliminating maintenance and water costs for homeowners. Plus, you’ll be able to enjoy beautiful green grass all year long.

Turf Pros brings the natural look and feel of high-quality artificial grass to local customers. No matter the season, artificial turf elevates your home’s curb appeal with a pop of color. The soft yet highly durable surface is safe for pets, great for kids and helps reduce allergens. You can also invest in your golf game by installing an artificial putting green.

“If you’re sick of mowing the lawn and worrying about your grass looking good through extreme temperature swings, it’s time to try artificial turf,” co-owner David Glover said. “We redesign your entire front and/or back yard to help with costs at every level.”

Turf Pros installs all types of artificial grass, including a wide variety of infill-required turf. Many artificial grasses use infill, typically compacted sand, to help keep the fibers upright for greater durability and a more realistic appearance. While infill-required products are more affordable, recent advancements in technology can help customers save time during installation while also reducing long-term maintenance costs.

Turf Pros is a preferred installer for AGL Grass, the manufacturer of the cleanest, softest and most durable artificial turf available today. Unlike most products on the market, turf from AGL Grass doesn’t require infill. The grass fibers have a unique “C” shape which helps them rebound naturally after being compressed, so they never lay flat.

AGL Grass products offer a “delustered” look and a silky-soft feel, just like real grass. And with Turf Pros handling the installation, homeowners can be confident their new lawn will stand up to the test of time.

“Our mission has always been to offer the best artificial grass that everyone can enjoy for generations,” Glover said. “We have samples of all the different types of turf available, so you get exactly what you want.”

Turf Pros is a division of US Landscaping, which has been beautifying yards across Southern Utah for over 20 years. Glover and his business partner, Tyler Roberts, specialize in total landscape design along with turf installation. They take pride in precision and cleanliness.

Removing your old grass is easy with Turf Pros. They cap off the existing sprinklers and water lines so you can enjoy years of environmentally friendly, low-maintenance artificial turf.

However, some homeowners are looking to do more than just replace all their grass with artificial turf. If they want to redesign their yard, Turf Pros can handle every step of the process – from drawing up plans and tearing out the old lawn to installation of new turf, landscaping or a putting green and finish work – for a seamless experience.

“The attention to detail and quality is what stands out the most,” Turf Pros customer S. Roberts said. “All of my neighbors keep asking where I got my new grass.”

“I never thought fake grass could look so good. Gorgeous!” said Kaitlin B., another customer. “They were awesome in helping me with my county water rebate too.”

Turf Pros helps customers save even more money by working with the Washington County Water Conservancy District to redeem rebates and discounts whenever possible. Currently, the district is offering a rebate of $2 for every square foot of existing grass that homeowners replace with water-efficient landscaping, including artificial turf. Homeowners must replace a minimum of 300 square feet of grass to qualify.

To claim the rebate, homeowners are required to submit an application to the district and schedule a pre-conversion inspection prior to starting any landscaping work. Another inspection will be scheduled after the project is complete to verify that the new landscaping meets water-efficient guidelines.

“We specialize in zero-maintenance designs,” Glover said. “When we’re done, all you have to do is set the timer on your drip system.”

Whether you’re redesigning your backyard or installing artificial grass at a brand-new home, Turf Pros provides free quotes to help customers start planning their dream projects. Visit SyntheticTurfUtah.com or call Glover at 435-703-3344 to schedule your estimate today.
