ST. GEORGE — A woman was injured in a crash Thursday night after the driver of an SUV reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign.
Shortly before 9 p.m., the driver of a white SUV stopped at a stop sign at 700 East Tabernacle Street, St. George Police Sgt. Matt Sherman told St. George News at the scene. Believing the way was clear, they attempted to cross, traveling east but hit a southbound red sedan.
The sedan appeared to sustain significant front-end damage but Sherman said he was not aware of any injuries to its occupants.
A woman in the SUV sustained minor injuries, was evaluated by Gold Cross EMS and may choose to self-transport to the hospital, he added.
The St. George Fire Department also responded to the scene.
