Park City Blind & Design specializes in all types of window coverings, including manual or motorized shades, blinds, draperies, shutters and exterior shades. After more than 25 years of serving clients in Northern Utah, the company recently opened a new design studio in St. George.

“We’ve actually had a presence in this community for years,” CEO Greg Rees said. “Many of our clients have second homes in St. George, and many of the designers and builders that we work with have projects down here as well. Ultimately, it just made sense.”

The greater St. George area is booming. With new developments and move-in-ready homes springing up across the valley, the company’s owners saw an unfulfilled need for custom window treatments.

“There’s really nobody in St. George that does what we do in the way that we do it,” Rees said. “The beauty of our work is in our customization. We carry many different lines and a vast selection of fabrics and products … We can design the look you want at the price you want. We have something for everyone!”

Recognizing that Southern Utahns spend nearly as much time enjoying the outdoors as they do living in their homes, Park City Blind & Design now offers exterior shades along with patio coverings, pool shades and awnings.

Park City Blind & Design offers complimentary in-home consultations for all types of window treatments as well as custom hardware, upholstery and bedding. However, clients are encouraged to visit the showroom before meeting with a design expert. That way, they can browse in-stock products, fabrics and colors to get a sense of what they might want their project to look like.

During the consultation, a design professional will guide clients through their options and provide recommendations based on the available space and style of the home.

“The process of choosing the right window treatments can be daunting, but we have an awesome team of professionals to help you with your design,” Rees said. “An excellent design serves multiple purposes. First, to enhance the home’s interior design; second, to keep occupants comfortable by protecting against the elements; and third, to provide privacy. Especially in St. George, clients gravitate toward window coverings that block light and heat during the summer, then help retain warmth during the colder months.”

Park City Blind & Design is a Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer. Their Southern Utah showroom also carries products from Lutron, Alta Window Fashions, Polar Shades, Insolroll, Fabricut, Trend, Hartman & Forbes,  RM Coco, Sunbrella and more. Installation is handled by experienced industry professionals who provide white-glove service from beginning to end.

“We’ll treat your home with the utmost care and respect,” Rees said. “Once we’re gone, other than having beautiful new window treatments in your home, you’ll never know we were there.”
