ST. GEORGE — It was a rainy and snowy week across the state, and parts of Southern Utah experienced measurable snowfall late Thursday and early Friday.

Officially, the National Weather Service reported both St. George and Cedar City received less than a half-inch of measurable snowfall. But rain and wind preceded snowfall in some areas. St. George also saw a low temperature of 31 degrees, while Cedar City was a chilly 19 degrees.

Residents in Hurricane and Washington City also reported snow on vehicles and in the grass Friday morning.

St. George News asked readers to share their pictures of the snow, which can be viewed in the photo gallery below.
