Social Security’s top 10 websites for 2023 make online access easier

ST. GEORGE — Online services are being updated and simplified by the Social Security Administration.

And access to the homepage – SSA.gov – is easy as a single click on the hyperlink or by simply typing in the website address.

Visitors will experience a new design to help them find what they need more easily.

Here are the top 10 Social Security web pages:

  1. My Social Security — You can open a personal my Social Security account to verify your earnings, view your statement, get benefit estimates, and more, at www.ssa.gov/myaccount.
  2. Social Security blog — Our hub for social security news and updates is their blog at blog.ssa.gov. You can use social media to easily share these informative articles with others.
  3. Frequently Asked Questions — Do you need answers to Social Security-related questions? The FAQ webpage is another valuable source of information at www.ssa.gov/faq.
  4. Retirement application — You can complete and submit your online application for retirement benefits in as few as 15 minutes at www.ssa.gov/retirement.
  5. Disability application — You can conveniently apply online for disability benefits at www.ssa.gov/benefits/disability.
  6. Publications — Visit the online publication library for information on key subjects at www.ssa.gov/pubs. This site includes audio versions of publications.
  7. Medicare — Sign up for Medicare at www.ssa.gov/medicare/sign-up.

The St. George Social Security Administration office is located at 1091 N. Bluff St., Suite 1100. The office is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and the phone number is 1-866-446-7085 or 1-800-325-0778 for TTY.

In Cedar City, the SSA office is located at  2069 N. Main St., No. 102. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. (except Wednesday afternoon), and the phone number is (800) 772-1213.
