Miranda Michelle Shrout

Dec. 7, 1982-Nov. 21, 2022

Miranda Michelle Bang Shrout, age 39, passed away Nov. 21, 2022, surrounded by loved ones after battling colon cancer. Miranda was born in Beryl, Utah Dec. 7, 1982, to Robert and Suzann Bang. She married Mike Shrout in the St. George Temple on June 6, 2008.

Miranda was raised in Beryl and loved to garden and had a natural green thumb. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She faithfully served in many callings including one of her favorites as Young Women’s President. She loved children, the youth and loved to serve them. She spent a lot of time with her nephews Brock and Maverick and loved them as her own. Miranda was a Doterra Wellness advocate and loved sharing her knowledge and helping people with their health. She had a bunny named Tator Tot that she adored and babied, Mike even took him into the hospital to visit her during one of her hospital stays.

Her only sister, Cherina, was her best friend and confidant. You could find them together shopping, cooking, decorating or just hanging out. Miranda’s nails always looked festive and perfect from Cherina. Miranda would grow pumpkins at the property in Beryl and share them with friends and family. She grew over 1,000 pumpkins last year and was thrilled about it. Fall will never be the same without her.

Miranda is survived by her husband Mike Shrout (St. George); mother Suzann Bang (St. George); brothers Devoree Bang, Kerry (Janae) Bang, Brecken (Andrea) Bang, Tyson (Brooke) Bang, Daimen (Taylor) Bang (all reside in St. George); and sister Cherina (Adam) Scott (St. George); half siblings HiIary (Dan) Bear, Greg Thomas and Shawn (Pam) Smith; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored.
