ST. GEORGE —If you’re looking for an experience that will shine a light on what is possible within you, look no further than Free Will Healing’s upcoming conference called FABU.

Laura Schmitt and Tina Mason, co-founders and owners of Free Will Healing, a holistic center co-op in Washington City, are excited to share details about their first-ever FABU Conference, which will take place in Hurricane Dec. 16-17.

FABU stands for Forgive, Allow and Become U, and Mason said the conference is based on the main reason humans are cruel and judgmental towards others – to avoid looking within themselves.

“Why do we not look within?” Mason said. “Because we’re terrified. Terrified we’re going to find a monster. But, what if we did look within? What if we found that space within us of self-love?

“If I can forgive myself for being human and flawed, if I can allow what the universe, what God is giving me, and become the person I choose to be, not the one society told me I had to be, then I’d have no need to judge others. I wouldn’t need to distract from looking within, because I’ve already looked within, and there’s no monster.”

So far, the overhead for the conference has come out of the pockets of both Schmitt and Mason. They hope the community and/or local businesses will come together to assist with the remaining costs. All funds will go towards conference expenses such as venue procurement, audio/visual equipment set-up and management and live-streaming equipment. To donate, visit the GoFundMe page.

As a men’s wellness advocate, podcaster, spiritual leader, keynote speaker and life coach, Allen’s vision is to see 10 million men break free from anxiety and live life with purpose and direction. He is the Chief Executive of the MATC Conference in the U.K., a regular guest on Times Radio in England and collaborates with producers for TV pilots as a presenter and voice-over artist.

On Dec. 20, Allen will hold a separate event in St. George called “Season’s Miracle.” The event will be based on the spirit of Christmas, along with how to connect to higher powers, guides and oneself. Click here for event information.

Aundrea Nyle is the CEO and founder of Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) Coaching. She is a singer/songwriter and Master of Ceremonies who appeared on the first season of “The Voice UK.” While experiencing her own depression, grief and anxiety, she decided to help others, which in turn has allowed her to heal. She seeks to bring others freedom and peace. Learn more about Nyle on her website.

“Let’s say we affect 1,000 people who look within themselves and say, ‘Wow, there’s no monster, I’m actually just a human being trying to make it through and I have so much love to give.’ And those 1,000 people go out and show it to another 10, and now we’re at 10,000. We can change this world for the good,” Mason said about the upcoming FABU conference.
