Precision Dental Specialties is comprised of oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Scott Bulloch and prosthodontist Dr. Brandon Bulloch. A father-son partnership, they recently joined forces to expand the practice and offer patients more comprehensive care in both surgery and restoration, including full mouth rehabilitation.

Everyone in the community is invited to meet the specialists and tour the practice during an open house event on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 4-6 p.m. There will be a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with representatives from the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, refreshments, snacks and gifts.

“Having a prosthodontist join the practice of an oral surgeon is just a match made in heaven,” said AJ Jensen, office manager at Precision Dental Specialties. “You get the best of the best in both surgery and restoration, and that’s what our new name reflects.”

After undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, Dr. Scott Bulloch graduated magna cum laude from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He holds several patents and has developed various techniques to improve the safety, reliability and precise placement of dental implants, as well as provide better treatment options for difficult cases.

Dr. Scott Bulloch established Precision Dental Specialties in 1994 as Precision Implant & Oral Surgery and has spent the past 28 years perfecting his craft to provide the finest dental implant service in Southern Utah. Along with being an expert in maneuvering complicated tooth extractions, he uses advanced techniques to fill the space left behind with dental implants on the same day as the tooth is extracted. He has placed thousands of implants throughout his career.

“Every treatment plan is individualized to that specific patient’s anatomy and their specific needs,” he said. “The immediate transformation patients experience after surgery is often life-changing.”

Bringing in a fresh perspective as well as new abilities and expertise, his son, prosthodontist Dr. Brandon Bulloch, recently joined the practice. This partnership blends decades of oral surgery experience with training in the latest materials and techniques in restorative dentistry to benefit Southern Utah patients.

Dr. Brandon Bulloch completed dental school along with a three-year prosthodontics residency at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where he received the Hanau Best of the Best: Excellence in Prosthodontics award for demonstrating outstanding knowledge and skills in the study and practice of prosthodontics. He was also awarded the Drs. Trung and Tien Ho Scholarship Endowment for his demonstration of academic achievement in the field of prosthodontics.

“My goal is to have patients leave with aesthetic and functional teeth,” he said. “We work closely with their general dentist and provide recommendations to maximize the success and longevity of the treatment.”

Precision Dental Specialties will be offering complimentary consultations with no referral needed. A consultation is the best way to know if you’re a good candidate for dental implants or another restorative procedure, Jensen said.

Precision Dental Specialties offers personalized and comfortable dental care in a state-of-the-art, technologically advanced dental specialty center that includes a board-certified nurse anesthetist. From dental implants to wisdom teeth removal and full replacement, the practice goes above and beyond for every patient.
