A biannual pop-up market focusing on the unique, Saint George Market will showcase over 100 merchants in a variety of different categories, and craftsmen such as Jewelry by Odessa are counting down the days. Stephanie Snyder, a merchant since the inception, has been prepping for this market since the spring. She attributes the market’s unique qualities to the community support and the intentionality behind the Saint George Market brand.

Saint George Market’s brand motto is: “Thoughtfully curated. Intentionally incubated. Community cultivated.” The market’s organizers say they believe that it all starts with an idea when it comes to starting a business, and they love seeing the incubation process.

Saint George Market founder Indigo Klabanoff said this isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill market.

“We partner with entrepreneurs and creatives to bring a curated market to a city we love,” she added. “We are extremely proud to offer space dedicated to fostering connections between small businesses and the local community.”

Not only that, the market is St. George’s small business incubator. Participating businesses gain insightful business help before, during and after the market with the Small Business Incubator Program so they’re fully prepared for the curated marketplace. That’s why Saint George Market is here, Klabanoff said – to amplify small businesses.

When asked what else she’d like the community to know about the event, she laughed and responded with, “Gratitude and a small sell. I just want to thank the community for coming out and showing their support to the merchants. They are so excited to see our community come out, and they work tirelessly to create for you.”

The market also is introducing new ideas this year, namely the “Ask Me Anything” interactive art section. Additionally, Klabanoff and her team want patrons to know how much they focus on giving back. Saint George Market has donated $20,000 to charities benefiting women and children since its inception, and the fall 2022 charity beneficiary is the Dove Center.

“So come out, support these merchants, support our charity beneficiary and #getexcited for all that the Saint George Market offers.”
