Brett Nolan Fisher, 38, and Dana Dawn Spaulding, 46, were booked into Iron County Jail shortly after noon on Monday following the raid, which was conducted by officers from the Iron Beaver Garfield Narcotics Task Force and Cedar City Police Department.

According to the allegations outlined in the probable cause statements filed in support of their arrests, Fisher and his girlfriend Spaulding had been selling drugs to undercover officers multiple times over the past few months.

When agents served the search warrant on Monday at the residence on the 300 North block of 800 West, they reportedly found approximately 42 grams of meth in a safe, along with scales and zip baggies.

In addition, an officer stationed in the back of the house reported seeing Fisher toss a black jar over a fence in an apparent attempt to hide it from agents. The container had meth residue inside, according to the affidavits.

Additionally, marijuana and drug paraphernalia also were located inside the residence, the affidavits state.

The two subjects “have been supplying a large amount of meth in our community,” one of the arresting officers wrote.

According to the charging documents, Fisher and Spaulding are each facing multiple drug-related charges, including possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, a second-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor.

Fisher also faces one count of obstruction of justice, a third-degree felony, and one count of marijuana possession, a class B misdemeanor.

This report is based on information provided by law enforcement and may not contain the full scope of findings. Persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.
