LuAnne Rigby Windley, 90, died Sept. 7, 2022, in Washington City, Utah. She was born May 22, 1932, in Newton, Utah, to Amos Martin and Cora Rigby. She married Joseph (JR) Windley Oct. 30, 2006. They were later sealed in the St George LDS Temple on Sep. 30, 2011.

LuAnne grew up in Newton, Utah, and graduated high school from North Cache High. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings. She was accomplished on the piano and organ. She was married to Stanley Hatch Griffin in Logan, Utah, in 1950. They later moved to Moses Lake, Washington. They divorced in 1959 and she moved to Brigham City, Utah. She also lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Washington City, Utah. She was an accounting professional. She loved to crochet and knit. She loved everything about Shirley Temple, collecting dolls and movies.

She is survived by her four children: Jerrold Rigby Griffin (Veniece) of Missouri City, Texas; Jacquelyn Dirks (Darwin) of St. George, Utah; John Edward Griffin (Jolene) of Mesa, Arizona; James Allen Griffin (Karen) of Maricopa, Arizona: her sister Coralie Hansen, two step-daughters Roxie Windley Butterfield and Rachelle Windley Thornhill, 29 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. LuAnne is preceded in death by her husband JR Windley, her siblings Darrell Rigby and Joyce Dennis and a grandson Caden Dirks.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at the Newton, Utah, Cemetery.
