Among the teens were 14-year-old Corie Lessard of San Diego, California, and a boy who thus far has remained unnamed. St. George News was made aware of the missing teens Monday through one of Lessard’s cousins who provided photos and additional information.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a group of teens had run away from the Three Points Center last Saturday. The facility itself sits near state Route 59 and is surrounded by a wide expanse of rock, dirt and brush.

Some of the runaway teens were found over the weekend with two – Lessard and the boy she accompanied at the time – still missing as of Monday evening. It was reported they appeared to be heading toward Washington City the last time someone saw them.

Lassard’s cousin emailed St. George News late Tuesday afternoon with the news the girl had been found.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Graham Hancock confirmed the last of the missing teens had been found alive and well and were subsequently returned to the Three Points Center.

In her email, Lessard’s family member went on to thank St. George News readers for their help in finding her cousin.
