Teri Lund-Henrie

Sept. 11, 1965-Aug. 17, 2022

Teri Lyn was born Setp. 11, 1965, to Heber and AnnaDee Lund in Cedar City, Utah. “And though she be but little, she is fierce.”

Teri had the most fun-loving, quirky personality. She made an impression on everyone she met and impacted many lives. Teri befriended everyone she encountered. “Everyone needs a friend.”-Teri

Teri lived her life passionately – whether cooking meals, creative crafting, relaxing at the lake, rock hunting, bike riding, hiking, riding motorcycles or camping – anything relating to the outdoors she loved and enjoyed. Teri loved music, especially ’80s rock. You would often hear her singing her heart out while “putting her face on” in the bathroom. She also enjoyed watching movies with her daughter and grandkids.

Teri was raised in Cedar City and moved to St. George with her family before her senior year in high school. She also attended Evans Hairstyling College.

Teri passed away on Aug.  17, 2022, at the age of 56 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She is survived by her daughter Jaesie (Brett) Hansen; her parents Heber and AnnaDee Lund, and four grandchildren, all of St. George, Utah.  Her grandkids were her joy – she loved spoiling them with fun and  random gifts, painting crafts, having picnics, planning Easter egg hunts, playing games, having dance parties and going for walks with them.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, at 11:30 a.m. in the Parowan City Cemetery.

“Weeping may stay the night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
