ST. GEORGE — Zion National Park closed two trails following flooding rainstorms that hit the area.
After heavy rains hit Southern Utah Thursday, the park announced on Twitter that the Emerald Pools and Kayenta trails would be closed while trail crews assessed on-the-ground conditions.
Park spokesman Jonathan Shafer said more details would be released Friday after the assessment’s results become available.
This is a developing story.
