Sarah Ann Holm

Sept. 27, 1980-Aug. 14, 2022

Sarah Ann Holm, age 41, passed away Aug. 14, 2022, due to complications from a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was born Sept. 27, 1980, in Hildale, Utah, to Richard Lyman and Shaunna Kelsch Holm.

She came into this world a beautiful solid 8 pounds, 18 inches and continued to be a strong presence in our lives. She grew up mothering and loving her younger siblings and always had a desire to have children of her own.

Sarah married Douglas Barlow, and with that union came five children: Tilden, David, Candileah, Ruthann and Shaunna. She became a single parent and was proud to have found independence. She worked endlessly in securing a home and lifestyle in which she could comfortably raise her children. They were the highlight of her life. Everything she gave was to bless their lives.

She was a perfectionist in everything she did from sewing to painting to playing the piano or any remodel projects in her home. When Sarah had an idea or a project in mind, she was relentless until completion.

Sarah worked as a CNA and medical assistant throughout her life at different establishments and was known for her bubbly sweet nature and exceptional bedside manner.

Sarah loved the outdoors, Side by Side rides, camping and had plans of touring the states with her life partner Andrew White, in their recently purchased motorhome. Together they enjoyed serving communities through the St George Lions Club and The Dixie Round-Up Rodeo.

She loved her family and time spent with them was her priority. Her kindness and love for others touched so many lives. She is deeply loved and missed by those that call her daughter, sister, mother, and friend.

Sarah is survived by her children, Tilden Barlow, Candileah Barlow, Ruthann Barlow and  Shaunna Barlow. Her parents, siblings, her partner Andrew, a large extended family and a circle of friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, David Barlow, grandparents Carl Otto Nathaniel Holm, Louis A. Kelsch and Leona Barlow Kelsch, her brothers Terry, Samuel, Riley, Brian and Rulon Holm and her nephew Brentin Holm.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 21, at noon at the Holm Heritage Center, 1065 N. Carling Street, Hildale, Utah. There will be a visitation on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 5-8 p.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, and prior to services Sunda, 10-11:30 a.m., at the Holm Heritage Center. Interment will take place in the Isaac Carling Memorial Park, Colorado City, Arizona.
