According to witnesses and police sources at the scene, a maroon Honda minivan was eastbound on 1oo South shortly after 3 p.m.

The driver of a cream-colored Cadillac passenger vehicle, at the stop sign on 400 W, did not see the van coming and began to execute a right turn onto 100 South, causing the collision.

Gold Cross Ambulance personnel were on the scene but none of the family in the minivan nor the elderly couple in the Cadillac required transport to the hospital. There were no apparent injuries.

Police at the scene told St. George News that the driver of the Cadillac was cited for failure to yield during a turn.

Clearing the scene took a little longer than usual while the elderly couple sat in the damaged Cadillac until a ride arrived to take them home.

Traffic flow resumed normally and the scene was cleared just before 4 p.m.

This report is based on information provided by police personnel and witnesses on the scene, and may not include the full scope of the findings.
