Advancements in technology continue to revolutionize both the way people sleep and how they shop for mattresses. With so many options available, there’s no substitute for trying out beds in a showroom. Graziano recommends spending 10-15 minutes on each mattress checking the support and exploring pressure points, especially in your natural sleep position.

Best Mattress offers the only showrooms in Southern Utah and Mesquite where you can compare products from Purple, Tempur-Pedic, King Koil, Posh + Lavish, Serta, Sealy, Stearns & Foster and more. As the area’s sleep specialists since 2008, their highly trained staff is dedicated to helping customers achieve deeply restorative rest by matching them with the mattress of their dreams.

“We take tremendous pride in making your mattress shopping experience easy, fun and informative,” Graziano said. “Our experts will help find the right mattress for you.”

Different beds for different bodies

Everybody has their own unique way of catching some Z’s, and no one mattress can be the perfect fit for all sleep styles. Most people sleep primarily on either their back, stomach or side, but however you snooze, proper support is essential for a good night’s rest.

Side sleepers are more prone to waking up with aches and pains due to the additional pressure points created by their body position. Finding the right mattress can be difficult because side sleepers require cushion at every curve of the head, neck, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. For the right balance of comfort and support, Graziano suggests a mattress in the soft-medium range with a firmness rating between 4.5 and 6.

Graziano said gel memory foam and memory foam mattresses are ideal for side sleepers because they have just the right amount of cushion without being too soft. The foam and other materials contour to the body, providing support where it’s needed most. Side sleepers might also enjoy hybrid mattresses, which combine memory foam and innerspring coils to provide contouring with extra support.

The best beds for two

Buying a mattress as a couple presents unique challenges. Often, each person enjoys a different level of firmness. A significant gap in weight between partners and opposite sleeping positions are also important factors to consider.

Graziano said the ideal mattresses for couples are those that minimize motion transfer to keep sleep disturbances to a minimum, especially if either partner is a light sleeper. Furthermore, beds with strong edge support allow two sleepers to spread out without sacrificing full-body support or feeling like they’re going to fall off.

“We have plenty of different options and technologies, and we’re confident we’ll find the perfect fit for you both,” he added.
