Edward “Buddy” Boster, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend quietly slipped from this life on June 27, 2022.

Born Jan. 5, 1940, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and raised in Lodi, California, Ed jumped into life with a thirst for living. His youthful adventures led him to any fishing hole or stream he could find and down every dirt path his motorcycle would go. His self-taught skill led to a profession in technology.

While his knowledge grew, so did his thirst to learn more. His mantra – “Do it yourself” – shines in every project he took on: From building printers, woodworking, sail cars and sand rails to tying flies and jewelry making, Ed’s passion for family will inspire those of us who love him to keep his spirit alive and live life to the fullest.

His absence is deep, as was his presence in our lives. He leaves behind his wife, Janet; stepchildren, Brian and Kathy; granddaughter Breanna; sibling Peggy; in-laws and “outlaws” who only saw him as their brother; nieces and nephew and dear friends.
