ST. GEORGE — When the weather heats up, it’s time to head north. On a recent trip to Cedar City, “What’s on the Menu” host Sheldon Demke met up with his friend Michaela Esplin to cool off and see what’s new at Jamba.
What’s not to love about Jamba’s Cedar City store? The menu is fun, colorful and delicious, and the convenient location on Main Street has a drive-thru.

Demke and Esplin started with the Strawberry Surf Rider, the perfect summertime smoothie. Cool and refreshing, it’s a blend of lemonade, lime sherbet and fresh strawberries and peaches.
Jamba’s bowls are “whirl’d famous” for their healthy ingredients and enticing flavors. They’re also a feast for the eyes, especially the Island Pitaya Bowl. The base blends pineapple juice, a dragon fruit pitaya and slices of mango, banana and pineapple. Add granola, bananas, strawberries, blueberries and coconut with a drizzle of honey on top – perfection!
“When you come to Jamba, you have to get a bowl,” Demke said. “These bowls are created so beautifully. They’re just works of art.”
The duo also tried the Spring Veggie Egg Bake with eggs, cheese, heavy whipping cream, artichoke hearts and red bell pepper. Light and fluffy, it won’t compromise your health goals yet packs plenty of protein and calcium to power you through your day.
From the bright colors to the fresh, fruity smells and the smiling staff, walking into Jamba is a treat for the senses. Stop by their Cedar City or St. George locations and get a taste of summer.
