Ryan Golding Allen

April 29, 1985-May 7, 2022

Ryan Golding Allen, 37, passed May 7, 2022, at his home in St George, Utah. He was born April 29, 1985, at Midvale, Utah, the son of Jonathan Allen and Theresa Akers Allen.

Our beloved Ryan G. Allen was tragically taken from his children, family and friends. Ryan was an amazing son, father, brother and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his young daughter, Aurora, whom he was raising as a single dad, and toddler son, Asher, whom he had not yet had the opportunity to be part of his life.

Ryan had the most contagious and bright smile. He could be going through his hell, but Ryan would be there for you when you needed him. His giggle and sense of humor are just a couple of traits that drew people to him. He would walk into a room, flash that smile and his presence was known.

Ryan dedicated his life to fighting for and giving his children a good life. He was in love with love. Ryan owned his mistakes. He paid his dues, and he never gave up when life was stacked against him, as it was so many times. He had the heart and soul of a warrior. His friends affectionately referred to Ryan as “The Luckiest unlucky.” His name Ryan means “Little King.” We will not let Ryan be forgotten, nor will his life nor death be in vain, a vow by his family and loved ones.

We want his two children, Aurora and Asher, to know how deeply their father loved them and how he gave up everything to fight for them and planned his whole future around them. He proved that even going into the jaws of hell, he could rise above and make a difference. Faults and all, Ryan is a precious child of God and loved by many. May his life represent the best in all of us and help each of us to eliminate hate and bring us together in eternal love.

We all are devastated and shocked by Ryan’s death and were unprepared for the unexpected funeral and support costs. We want to give Ryan the memorial he deserves and for loved ones to say their last goodbyes.

May we humbly ask if you would consider donating any amount if you can do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time. (If you have previously donated through other means, thank you, and know those funds have been received by Ryan’s mother, Theresa or his father Jonathan).

Thank you for all the love, support, stories and memories you shared. We are eternally grateful to you.

He is survived by his parents, daughter Aurora Allen (4), son Asher Allen (2), brother Shane Allen, sisters  Melanie Allen, Natalie Allen and Amanda Allen, nephew, Jaxton Allen and nieces Madeline Allen, Taleia Allen and Nya Allen.
