The incident was reported April 9 at the intersection of Coral Canyon Boulevard and Telegraph Street in Washington City, where two men were killed while participating in the annual Spring Tour of St. George bicycle ride.

Both riders were struck by a red 2004 Toyota Highlander driven by 47-year-old Julie Ann Budge, who was arrested following the incident.

Washington City Police Chief Jason Williams told St. George News the investigation into the crash is ongoing, adding that multiple witnesses and bystanders stepped in that day while officers processed the large, extensive scene.

With so much activity, Williams said, there were witnesses who officers did not get a chance to speak with who may have information that can assist with the investigation.

Williams said that anyone who witnessed the incident or had any interactions with the officers that day but was unable to provide a statement should call the Washington City Police Department at 435-986-1515.
