ST. GEORGE — With Wednesday’s victory at SunRiver Golf Club, Pine View High School won the Region 10 weekly golf match for the fourth time in as many weeks. However, Dixie came in a close second this time, finishing just seven strokes behind the Panthers.

The Panthers were led by Alyssa Butterfus’s score of 82, while teammate Hallie Wieland added an 85. Meanwhile, Dixie was led by Annabelle Millard’s 75, with Iris Pead scoring 86.

“We’re getting stronger every day and I couldn’t be more proud of my team,” Millard told St. George News afterward.

“I played pretty good today, too,” Millard added. “I’m making a few adjustments and I’m really excited to see how they work out for me.”

Next week’s Region 10 match is scheduled for Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Sand Hollow Resort in Hurricane, where the girls will play through the nine-hole Links course twice.
