SHE Sparks Business is a community of like-minded female business owners and professional women across all ages, backgrounds and industries. From raising capital to balancing parenting with running a business, women are provided with the resources they need to find their voice and then use that voice to create the world they want to receive.

“When you learn from other generations and industries, your perspectives shift, which allows you to see your journey in another point of view,” owner Sharon Rosenbaum said.

Rosenbaum’s early life was influenced mostly by male role models and her grandmother, Karalee. Her mother passed away from leukemia when she was 6 years old, and she was the only girl in the house. Within the workforce, she didn’t have a female boss until she moved to Southern Utah in 2015.

While attending an all-female networking event, she realized she had discovered a missing link. Seeking to connect with other professional women in the St. George area, she found that female-focused business resources were scant. She made the leap of faith into entrepreneurship in 2018 and launched SHE Sparks Business.

Much more than a networking opportunity, SHE Sparks Business offers a place for women to grow and thrive, both personally and professionally. Advocates gain business tactics for starting and running a company as well as learning how to be stronger leaders in any workplace.

“SHE Sparks is all about making an authentic connection that will help you rise and help you carry your spark,” Rosenbaum said. “It can be so easy to lose hope in something that sparks your passion, but by sharing it with other women and having them help you build on your dreams, it can become a reality.”

SHE Sparks Business offers three tiers to serve women differently depending on where they’re at in business. Women can participate in individual community events or become a SHE Sparks Advocate.

SHE Sparks Advocates are startup owners and businesswomen seeking to make connections and become better leaders and co-workers. SHE Sparks ELITE is an exclusive group composed of experienced and successful business owners who are reaching six and seven figures in revenue with their companies and want to take things to the next level. SHE’s Online offers virtual courses and consulting that professional women from around the United States are using to build their businesses.

SHE Sparks Business also hosts monthly Women’s Community Events to further facilitate the growth of female-owned businesses and leaders in Southern Utah. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in intelligent conversations with women in professional settings. Networking among women enhances the exchange of ideas and the ignition of trade through the development of strategic business contacts, Rosenbaum said.

Rosenbaum is committed to creating a structured, safe environment focused on the growth of women in Southern Utah’s business community. Business owners such as JoLynn Slade with Sun Rock Yoga gain the confidence and skills to be the best version of themselves.

“In the SHE Sparks community, you will meet amazing women to lean on and learn from,” Slade said. “I am uplifted and inspired every time I attend an event or meet with one of these fantastic women. Joining SHE Sparks Elite completely changed my business!”

Another advocate, Kelli Charlton, said SHE Sparks Business isn’t your average girls’ group but rather a community of strong women helping one another shine.

“This tribe of powerful women are focused on building each other up, celebrating success and propelling each other into the next dimension,” she said. “Each block of time is well spent, and one will walk away with valuable tools to grow personally and professionally.”

With SHE Sparks Business, “Success Happens Everyday.” Rosenbaum invites all Southern Utah businesswomen to meet with her team for a free strategy session, where they’ll dive into your passion and help you spread your spark.
