Summit Foot + Ankle Clinic encompasses nine locations in Riverton, Millcreek, Provo, Payson, Ogden, Price, Spanish Fork and now St. George. Southern Utah needed additional podiatric services due to the growing population and aging demographics, Ellsworth said.

At Summit Foot + Ankle Clinic, patients spend more time with podiatric specialists getting to the root of their concerns. The clinic also focuses on seeing patients quickly, especially in the case of wounds and injuries. He is currently the only podiatrist on the staff and will soon be joined by another doctor. The team also includes a nurse practitioner specializing in diabetic foot care.

“While we’re part of a larger group, we have more of a small-town clinic feel,” he added.

Ellsworth attended the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. After completing medical school, he underwent three years of intensive residency training in foot and ankle surgery at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
