Jan. 21, 1955 – Dec. 7, 2021

Wendy Christiansen Turley, 66, after struggling with a three-week-long battle of COVID, ended her valiant fight on Dec. 7, 2021. She was born on Jan. 21, 1955, to Garth Cook Christiansen and Dora Mower Christiansen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wendy grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She attended and was a member of the drill team at Pleasant Grove High School and Snow College.

Wendy had a zest for life, especially the Gospel. She was a valiant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ and her Heavenly Father. She valued her faith more than anything. She served faithfully her whole adult life in the Young Women program, Relief Society and LOVED teaching the young primary children about the Gospel.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Marion Devon Turley; children: Emily (Loren) Bernal, Brandon (Joyelle) Turley and Andrea Hadley; siblings: Gail (Elaine) Christiansen, Pete (Sherie) Christiansen and Barbara Long; brothers-in-law: Les Haley and Earl Colyer; sister-in-law: Jeanann Christiansen; grandchildren: Adisson (Adam) Seegmiller, Koleman Hadley, Jackson Turley, Maddux Turley, Kapri Turley, McKay Bernal, Mia Bernal, Olivia Bernal, Emma Bernal, Savannah Bernal, Ellie Bernal, Kennedi Bernal and Sofie Bernal; and many nieces and nephews.

The pride and joy of Wendy’s life was her family. Her loving husband and eternal companion, Marion, is her best friend. They loved to travel all over watching their grandkids play sports, dance, etc. As a couple, they were always looking to find ways to serve all around them. Ministering to any and everyone that needed a meal, a helping hand, a visit or just some friends.

Her main purpose in life was being a mother, wife and especially a grandmother. She never missed one performance, ball game or anything that her 13 grandkids or three kids were a part of.

She has touched countless lives with her loving nature, service, countenance and Christ-like love. She will be missed by many.

The family would like to thank neighbors, ward members, friends, family and everyone for the meals, love, thoughts, support and especially faith and prayers that has been shown throughout this time.
