St. George Orthopedic Spine expands services with new surgeons, additional clinic in Cedar City

CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — St. George Orthopedic Spine will help you get your life “back.” Led by Dr. Kristoffer West, the clinic has long provided exceptional neck and back care not only to local residents, but patients from the surrounding areas as well. In an effort to keep up with the growing population, West has added two experienced spine surgeons to his team.

St. George Orthopedic Spine specializes in the operative and nonoperative treatment of neck and back disorders. With a rapidly growing community, Southern Utahns don’t need to travel outside the region to get first-class spine care. The clinic is staffed by West, Dr. Mark Stouffer and Dr. David Barnes.

“We are well-equipped here in St. George to fully care for and treat any spine disorders residents or visitors may have,” Barnes said. “Due to the unique geographic region and diverse population, we treat a full spectrum of spinal disorders including degenerative conditions, disc disorders, adult spinal deformity, revision surgery and spine trauma. We appreciate that every patient is unique and that every spine problem requires a special and thoughtful solution.”

In addition to their St. George clinic, St. George Orthopedic Spine recently expanded to a second location in Cedar City to better serve their patients from Iron County and surrounding areas.

On Dec. 13, Stouffer and Barnes will be giving a spine seminar on the latest treatments for neck and back disorders at the Courtyard by Marriott Cedar City, located at 1294 S. Interstate Drive; click here for more information. The event starts at 6 p.m. and is free to attend. They will also be offering a free reading of lumbar and cervical MRIs and/or X-rays.

The providers at St. George Orthopedic Spine are trained in the newest minimally invasive microscopic nerve decompression, fusion and disc replacement surgeries to render multidisciplinary care for neck and back problems.
