Connie Lee Harvey

Aug. 31, 1951 – Dec. 3, 2021

Connie Lee Harvey, 70, passed away Dec. 3, 2021. She was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Boulder City, Nevada, a daughter of Carl F. Carpenter and Gerta Spendlove Carpenter. She was later adopted by her stepfather, James M. Harvey whom she loved very much.

She moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1956 where she attended Fairmont Park and Rotary training centers. In 1972, she moved to St. George, Utah, with her parents.

She started working at Dixie Advantage in 1976. Since 1983 she has lived in the group home sponsored by the Washington County A.R.C., now known as TURN Community Services.

Connie was a spiritual person and had a testimony of Jesus Christ. She loved everyone. She loved her family dog and often spoke of him. She always lived to be kind and helpful. She loved life. Connie was known for calling everyone honey and this will be something everyone will truly miss hearing.

Connie is survived by a sister, Beverly Carson of Wasilla, Alaska; and a brother, Myron (Paulette) Carpenter of Eureka, Utah. She was preceded in death by her mother, Greta Carpenter Harvey and stepfather, James Harvey.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We would like to thank everyone at RISE and TURN for their continuous care and love of Connie.
