Traffic alert: Southbound SR-18 closed near mile marker 9 due to crash

ST. GEORGE — The southbound lanes of state Route 18 are currently closed due to a crash in the area.

The crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday near mile marker 9.

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, five lanes are currently impacted and traffic is being delayed five to 15 minutes.

UDOT estimates the lanes will be reopened at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
