CEDAR CITY — Flying from Cedar City Regional Airport will soon be more convenient than ever thanks to a new flight schedule.
According to a press release from Cedar City Airport Manager Nick Holt, SkyWest Airlines – operating as Delta Connection – will introduce an early morning flight to Salt Lake City (SLC). This new flight, which will start operating Dec. 4 at 6 a.m., will enhance connections out of Salt Lake and to hundreds of other destinations around the world on Delta’s global network.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve our air service and are excited about the new schedule for Cedar City,” Greg Atkin, SkyWest Airlines managing director of market development, said in the press release.
The new flight schedule is specifically designed to provide both business and leisure travelers with access to hundreds of daily flights to nearly 100 nonstop destinations from Salt Lake City. All Delta Connection flights from Cedar City to Salt Lake are on the Bombardier-manufactured Canadair Regional Jet 200 (CRJ200) and will be operated by SkyWest Airlines.
The new flight schedule will be as follows:
- Depart Cedar City at 6 a.m., arriving in Salt Lake City at 7:08 a.m.
- Depart Salt Lake City at 1:40 p.m., arriving in Cedar City at 2:46 p.m.
- Depart Cedar City at 3:11 p.m., arriving in Salt Lake City at 4:22 p.m.
- Depart Salt Lake City at 8:30 p.m., arriving in Cedar City at 9:43 p.m.

Holt called this new schedule a “great benefit for Cedar City travelers.”
“They will now be able to fly out of Cedar City and still have a full day available for meetings or to spend time with family,” he said. “If you’re traveling this winter season, make sure to book your flights in and out of Cedar City!”
