The Day Camp and Fling program will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily during the first week of August. Participants are asked to pack a lunch and always have a swimsuit on hand, as August in St. George can get hot, and water games are a must.

The children will make a variety of crafts, learn new songs, meet new friends, play some fun games and take a couple field trips to locations around St. George.

“Your child will experience the joy of being with old and new friends in a loving, supportive and caring Christian community,” a website for the program states. “Our fun and exciting staff will love, care for and accept your child as they are.”

When most camps have stopped for the summer, New Promise brings one last great week of fun to the city.

The cost of the day camp is $40, and the Kindergarten camp is $30. Extended care is also available until 5:30 p.m. for an additional $5 per hour.

The Fling program is $40 and will have classes in leadership skills, creative worship, group building and Jesus time.
