ST. GEORGE — If you have been dreaming of sliding behind the wheel of a new car lately, July is the perfect time to head down to a Stephen Wade dealerships and check out hundreds of deals offered during the 4th annual “Red Tag” sales event.
During the entire month, the sales team at Stephen Wade Auto Center is marking prices down on new and used vehicles in their inventory. Marketing director Jamie Bahlmann said they hope customers will come out and take advantage of their once-a-year amazing specials.
“Used cars, new cars – all of them will be marked down,” she said.
July is typically the best time to purchase a new vehicle with amazing manufacturer incentives plus the low wade Red Tag pricing, Bahlmann said, but as an added bonus, Stephen Wade is making it even better this year by giving away $5,000 each week. Totaling $15,000 in 15 days, giveaways will be held on July 13, 20 and 27.
“We want it to be exciting,” she said.
Customers can qualify by liking and following any Stephen Wade dealership, including Mercedes Benz of St. George, on social media and then taking a picture of a Stephen Wade red tag or a “selfie” at any of the red tag locations around town and posting it to social media with #WadeRedTag.
Selfie stations will be located at Red Cliffs Mall, all three local movie theaters (Pineview Stadium 10, Sunset Corner Stadium 8, Main Street Cinema 6), the Washington City Community Center, Sand Hollow Aquatics Center and Bloomington Country Club.
Bahlmann said they had some fantastic photos submitted last year, including a lifeguard at the Washington City Community Center who got playful with some swim gear and several fun shots from their Red Cliffs Mall stop.
Not only can people enter to win $5,000, but movie tickets will also be given away each day, as well as a $1,500 gift card consolation prize each week for one lucky runner-up. Prizes given away will total over $20,000.
Every Friday, 125 qualifiers will be chosen and invited to a Stephen Wade dealership Saturday morning around 10 a.m. for a huge celebration, tons of swag and many prizes to be given away during a reverse drawing, Bahlmann said.
“The last person called will win the $5,000,” she said, “and then we will put everybody’s name back in the pot and draw a name for the $1,500 consolation prize.”
No purchase is necessary and you must be present to win, but Bahlmann said every qualifier will receive a prize from Canyon Media, the contest’s co-sponsor.
“It’s definitely worth showing up for. Especially if you can win five grand right?”
