Officers from the St. George Police Department were called to the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Dixie Drive at 12:30 p.m. after a 40-year-old man driving a gray Ford Raptor collided with a white Ford F-150 being driven by a 50-year-old man. According to witnesses, the driver of the Raptor was attempting to make a left turn when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

No injuries were reported, and the Raptor did not require a tow. The driver of the Raptor was issued a citation for failure to yield, St. George Police officer Tiffany Atkin said.

The driver of the Raptor is visiting from Texas with his wife, who is a social media influencer known as “sheswithoutfear” on Instagram.

The Sunset Boulevard-Dixie Drive intersection is the second most dangerous intersection in St. George, with a total of 24 crashes from March 1, 2018, to March 31, 2019, according to data from the St. George Police Department. The intersection is only outranked by 1000 East and St. George Boulevard, which had 40 crashes.

This report is based on statements from police and witnesses and may not contain the full scope of findings.
