St. George Police ask for help finding man suffering from dementia

ST. GEORGE — The St. George Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 66-year-old man.


UPDATE July 1, 2019: Keith Johnson was located safe at Christensen Park in Bloomington.


Keith Johnson was last seen Friday on the east side of St. George. Police say he suffers from the onset of dementia and regularly walks the many trail systems surrounding St. George.

A dispatch agent from the St. George 911 Communications Center said Johnson was still missing as of 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

Johnson is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with white hair.

Johnson previously went missing last October when he left the Chrysalis Activity and Recreational Center, located at 133 E. 2580 South near the Pilot Flying J Travel Center in St. George. He was found five days later and returned safely to his home.

Anyone with information regarding Johnson’s whereabouts is asked to call the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300.
