SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City Police said they served a search warrant at a home in the Fairpark area that is related to the MacKenzie Lueck case.

Neighbors tell Fox 13 police arrived at the home near 500 North and 1000 West around noon Wednesday. The home is near the park where Lueck was last seen.

A gray Kia sedan was towed away from the home just after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and neighbors said police have spoken with the home owner, but it’s not clear what came of that conversation.

Officers have been on scene with K-9 units and forensic personnel.

Police secured DNA of some kind in the home but said it is still being tested, and vans have taken evidence of some kind from the home.

The case remains an open investigation and is still a missing persons case, police said.
