Snow Canyon State Park to host Johnson Canyon natural history hike

ST. GEORGE — The public is invited to join Snow Canyon State Park rangers on a hike to Johnson Canyon to learn about the natural history of the area.

The hike will take place Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Park staff will lead a group on the 2-mile round-trip hike to Johnson Canyon and discuss the natural history of the area, which includes lava flows and desert scrub.

Space is limited and registration is required. All Snow Canyon programs are free and open to the public. To request more information, register for a program or receive a list of upcoming activities, call 435-628-2255.
