Two cars totaled after driver runs red light in Washington Fields

ST. GEORGE — Four men survived a collision Tuesday that totaled two cars just after 8 p.m.

A gray Toyota Tacoma was traveling on Industrial Road with three occupants when the driver of a gray Hyundai Accent ran a red light, according to witnesses. The driver of the Hyundai was traveling on Washington Fields Road.

The Hyundai hit the center of the Toyota on the driver’s side, bending the frame. Both cars were not in drivable conditions.

According to witnesses, the driver of the Hyundai said light from the sun made it difficult to discern the color of the traffic light.

No injuries were reported.
