Two transported to hospital after accident at Walmart parking lot

WASHINGTON CITY — Two men were transported to the hospital Friday following a collision in Washington City.

According to witnesses, a black Toyota Tundra was leaving the Walmart parking lot around 2 p.m. when it crashed into a gray Ford Escape that was entering from Telegraph Street.

The Toyota veered left, driving onto a gravel median and hitting a light pole.

First responders closed off the right turn lane into the Walmart parking lot.
