Dan Charles Yergensen, Ph.D. passed away in his home in Arroyo Grande, California, on March 20, 2019. It was the Spring Equinox, a full moon and a beautiful sunny day on the central coast of California, the bright sunlight warming his home overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean.

Dan was a father, husband, psychologist, mentor and friend. He is survived by his son Erik Baker Yergensen, daughter-in-law Chelsea Yergensen, grandson Jordan Rey Yergensen, daughter Kirsten Yergensen, and grandson Lukijah Ayo Santos. His first granddaughter will be born any day now.

Dan loved his children, and he shared that their childhood was the best part of his life. He is remembered fondly as someone who enjoyed loud music, was an excellent conversationalist and was not afraid to speak his mind, share his truth or listen to others. He will be dearly missed. We were not ready for him to go.
